Initially he thought it was just a coincidence, but he also thinks for the cross to shine in such a way that it is fate. Continuing on from Iori’s confession, he tells Ema about how he was going to step off the cliff when he suddenly saw his cross shining from the morning sun, stopping his movements and allowing him to be alive today.Įma thinks to herself that she should have tried to stop Iori from running away that day.
